BOOKBINDING
AT PP-PRESS
The
structural bookbinding techniques are based on the museum-store limited-edition
books originally created by PP-Press for The ShadowTracks Collection.
MAKING
A BOOK
There are 3 concerns with creating a book:
Design/Presentation
Content/Formatting
Bookbinding
Knowing
'how' to structurally bind a book is key to addressing Design
and Content.
Once
you have made a book, you will be able to apply your structural knowledge
in creating your own limited edition books.
'A
writer becomes an author when you bind your words.' PP-Press

*BRICKS* *BRICKS*
In order to help stabilize the construction process,
it is suggested that you use two standard household masonry bricks.
Make sure the bricks are dry. Not just plucked out of the garden. (Moisture
and paper do not work well together). You can purchase them at a lumber-supply
store.
Wrap
and tape the bricks as you would a gift, and you're set to go. They
also make good bookends.
