Two
standard household masonry bricks work as a book-press
and stabilizer in constructing your book. Wrap & tape the bricks.

Note: Make sure the bricks are dry. Not just plucked out ot
the garden.
(Moisture and paper do not work well together.)

The thickness of a book should be equal-to or less-than the

You can replace kit papers with your own papers.
Q:
What if I want to add pictures or momentos inside the book?
Create
'shims' to keep the book from fanning out.
A

paper-thickness
lost with your photo/insert].
Be creative. Use deckle-edged scissors to shim/cut in unusual ways.
Use onion skin paper or decorative tissues to overlay the photo/insert.
Q:
Why do you use two glues in making a traditional book?
At
certain stages, a thicker more flexible glue is needed,
Q:
Can I use my own cover material when I make my Limited Edition book?
Yes.
Cover material fabric or paper should be thin enough to allow for
creating sharp edges and corners in the folding/gluing. Paper is preferred
and easier to mount.
Suggestions:
Copies of photographs, gift wrap, magazine clippings, greeting cards,
decorative tissues for overlays
