As a private estate, Charles & Margaret Southwick helped
to acquire the historic designation and carefully planned conveyance
of this 23-acre Moravian site to become, in 1987,
'The Inn At Millrace Pond: A Gracious Country Inn'.

The Moravian Gristmill at Millrace Pond supplied flour
to The Continental Army under Gen. George Washington at Jockey Hollow, NJ.

Millrace Pond Reflections

This Special Edition 'Millrace Pond-Southwick Parlour' card
is a multi-layered bicentennial view...as a summer afternoon reflection
off Beaver Brook millpond gives way to a touch of holiday snow on the
stone cottage, known as 'Millrace Cottage'—once the wheelwright's shop.

Inside the card is a partial survey map of the Beaver Brook millrace
dated 1774, along with a pen & ink replica depicting the historic buildings.
